邵逸夫(1907.11-2014.1)，邵氏兄弟有限公司、香港电视广播有限公司创办人之一。毕生热心慈善，推动科技文化事业，创办了邵氏基金会、“邵逸夫奖”。国际编号2899号的小行星被命名为“邵逸夫星”。
Run Run Shaw (1907.11-2014.1) The co-founder of Shaw Brothers (HK) Ltd and Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB). He cherished charity to promote the development of science, technology and culture all life long, and established the Shaw Foundation and the Shaw Prize. The asteroid number 2899 was named in his honour.
