董浩云(1911.9-1982.4)，中国东方海外货柜航运公司创办人，世界船王之一，中国现代航运事业的先驱。毕生对国家、民族深怀挚爱，将航运事业与国家的强盛联系在一起，创办了海上学府，并专设教育基金会，资助教育，培养人才。

For deep love of the country and nation, he identified shipping industry with the prosperity of the country, and established seaborne school. Education Foundation was also established to promote education and train qualified personnel.
